Fourth grade can be a big transition for students, so this will be a time for all of us to learn and grow together. I know that every child is capable of learning, and I hope to create opportunities for each student to succeed. We all have different strengths, and I plan to use a variety of learning experiences to utilize each child’s talents and help them improve any areas of weakness. We will have a lot of fun exploring, creating, discussing, and working together.

Student Behavior
I expect nothing but the best from my students! Each child will be treated fairly and held accountable for their choices. Our classroom will follow the Sunrise SOAR rules: Safe, Inside and Out, On Time and On Task, Accept Responsibility, Respect Self, Others, and Property. I will use precision commands, rewards, and consequences to keep our class running smoothly. Please help your child by communicating about school, going through backpacks together, and encouraging responsibility and accountability.
Classroom Supplies
The school will provide all the needed supplies for your student. You do NOT need to purchase pencils, pencil boxes, folders, etc. I will make sure that they have what they need to succeed! If you would like to donate to our classroom supplies, we would appreciate such items as whiteboard markers, tissue, bandages, erasers, Ziploc bags, paper plates, paper bowls, napkins, and hand sanitizer. Please do not feel obligated to donate. This is strictly voluntary.
