Daily Homework : Language Arts/Math
I believe in homework as an effective way to encourage parent-child communication and collaboration. Please use this opportunity to engage with your student, and maybe let them teach you something new.
Every Monday thru Friday I assign language arts and math homework. Each night your child will receive one page of homework. On the front is a language arts page. This will be a review of comprehension skills taught during the week. On the back of the will be a math assignment for the night, usually through the Pearson online practice buddy. These problems should be a review of the concepts already taught in class. If you find you would like extra help with math please visit pearsonsrealize.com. I will collect the homework page the following morning! Hopefully, this will encourage responsibility and help your child stay caught up!
In addition to our weekly assignments, students are expected to pass of Reflex math facts for multiplication and division, as well as complete the Fourth Grade 40 Book Challenge.
